WiMAX Technology and National Security
We should be aware that we are always under the threat of terrorism. A nation with a strong national security means a nation with a strong communication system. Without it, we are all vulnerable to all kinds of terrorist threats and attacks. To address the issue of communication, the WiMAX technology can be implored as a primary or back-up communication system that would help a nation in times of threat.
Since WiMAX equipments do not entail cables, its system cannot easily be damaged or penetrated by terrorists. WiMAX transmitters are also positioned away from each other, this means a single attack cannot bring down the entire communications system. WiMAX is indeed a technology fitted to protect our national security.
