Things such as office chairs are geared more towards efficiency and mobility, while most reception furniture is not as mobile and instead focus on comfort. Good home office furniture can take a more comfortable route as well, and are generally less expensive than reception furniture. More pieces of reception furniture are needed, as well- this can make them quite expensive for waiting rooms and other applications.
