History of Watches
Different types of watches have appeared over the years, and it is considered that more recent designs are a great improvement on the pocket watches that were famous in olden days. Watches gained popularity as it was found that advances in mechanical engineering could make a clock much smaller- small enough to fit on one’s wrist. Since then, advances have been made. Watches can even be considered jewelry- incorporating the use of birthstones much like wedding rings would. Other advances have made certain watches water-proof- making the history of watches constantly changing and evolving at present and in the future.
