Change of job makes Mike an expatriate

Mike had just left his job as a systems analyst. He used to work for a firm in New York, and because he was fed up of the way the company was run, he had chosen to quit. A round of a few job sites online, and a few applications later, Mike had found a new job. It was based in Japan, at the other end of the globe. Mike relished new challenges and he was sure that the Japanese assignment would be interesting. The moment he landed at the airport, he suddenly felt lost. The faces looked different, so was the language. It was at this time that Mike remembered the words of his colleague Tom, who himself was an expatriate at his old firm. Tom had mentioned about expat intelligence in their conversations, and at that moment Mike could think of nothing better than expat intelligence. It did not disappoint him, and after a few months Mike was well settled in his job- all thanks to expat intelligence.
