I’ve heard from some friends that directories are a good way to make money online. Most of friends who own directories are pretty successful because they spent a lot of time and effort in promoting their websites and getting the Page Ranks up. They’ve started charging premium subscription amounts for all websites and to my surprise, a lot of websites are willing to pay to be listed in deep link directories because of their obvious search engine friendly benefits. I plan to start my own website and decided to go with a directory of directories, because I think most first time webmasters will appreciate having a central place which lists all the directories as well as their prices and Page ranks. I browsed around the net for some examples for my directory of directories and came across a directories blog that was pretty interesting.
